Harassing domain investors instead of purchasing domains

Many early domain investors who have valuable domains are being harassed by large companies wasting a lot of money, hoping that the domain investor will drop the domain. A few large companies have the grace and humanity to legally purchase the domains paying the market price, instead of wasting money to destroy the life of the domain investor. Why do most companies prefer to waste money harassing domain investor, instead of spending far less money and legally purchasing the domains for a few hundreds or thousands of dollars?

I think the reason behind this is because these companies think money is everything and that they can do whatever they want just because they have money.

The tech and internet companies are extremely powerful, so these companies are openly involved in massive online financial fraud, slavery of small online investors, robbing their data to make fake claims.

I don't understand what you mean by harassing domain investors. Let's say I own highly valuable domain, how can somebody harass me?

Government employees, their girlfriends and associates do not want to purchase domains, yet spread fake rumors that they own the domains, criminally defaming the domain investor. Additionally anyone who deals with the investor is harassed, for example the local electrician told the investor, to manage without repairs, because he will be harassed if he repairs.

Yes a lot of big companies always want to be taking things by force. Sometimes these things don't even make real sense

It will be much cheaper for them to purchase domains instead of wasting their money to pay people for monitoring and harassing the harmless investor, every month.

It just doesn't make sense though, if they have the money to waste on harassing domain owners, why not simply use the money to buy the domain legally.
