The trauma of having to lose your job could be really defining for some people in many ways. Companies and business organizations might have to fire staff for reasons best known to them.

Has anyone in this forum been fired from work? How did you cope with that reality?

if I'm fired at work it is to look for another job almost immediately we need to know that this kind happened at any time

Unfortunately i have not experienced this, the closest I have had is when a contract I was hired on got finished. I still felt sad about it though.

I have never been fired from work. I have had to leave jobs by myself. I try to stay in line to avoid being fired.

The very same happened to me. I also was forced to leave jobs by myself, mainly cause the very long distance from home at the point it became so expensive to move that the salary wasn't worth the expenses.

I have never been fired from a job, on the contrary I moved to a more challenging job and of course a better salary, but if I was fired from a job, I should know why I was fired?, a bad reputation will make it difficult for us to get good references.

I had a 24 hour meltdown once. I worked for an accounting service provider. Every year everyone is assigned a new client. That year I was assigned the worst. Apparently no one wanted to work for the company because client always caused trouble..I was new. And my welcome gift was the client. I lasted 2 months and the owner called a meeting with me and my boss.my boss holds the "client is always right" line very seriously. My client stated that I didn't allow him to spend his profits the way he wanted to. So he asksd my boss to fire me. MY boss did right there and then. I was heartbroken. Went home and slept. Got woken up by a call next day my boss asked why I wasnt at work. I was shocked. I reminded him of the previous day amd he laughed and said" yes you are fired from clients office but you are still my employee, come back to work"

Yes when you do good you get yourself covered from sacking. it isn't a good feeling at all to lose your source of living

John loss has landed a lot of people in places they never intended to be. The thing is just to always get up and move on searching for a new job

What a terrible feeling would be to the worker being fired. It's crucial for that worker to get hired because the recommendation letter will be negative. The only option is find work online or manage a business. It's not the end of the world.
