Has anyone opened a bank account with your phone number

Has a stranger opened a bank account using your phone number without your knowledge and permission. In this case what action can you take to prevent misuse of your phone number for opening bank accounts ?

Then the person is sick. How would the person operate the account later on with my phone number. it never happened to me

How is that even possible? How would the person get the code to access the bank? Anyways no one has ever done this with my phone number.

It is absolutely not possible because the person will not be able to access the code called OTP code which the bank will send to your phone. It is possible if the person have access to your phone.

No, it never happened to me. It might happen if your account number is exposed to a family member or a close friend. It is also against the law.

It never happened to me. In fact, here, we cannot open an account with just a phone number. You have to show your ID card as well.

In my country other people are not allowed to open a bank account using our phone number, how can they confirm the account either via SMS, Whatsapp or even Google email on the smartphone we use.
