Has illnesss adversely affected your income?

If a person is seriously ill, they may be bed ridden for some time, due to which they are unable to work even at home for a week or more. This adversely affects the income of the person who has fallen sick. Has anyone found that their income has reduced greatly due to illness?

There was a time i was seriously sick which stopped me from working the way i would have, so yes being sick can affect how you earn.

Since online work is my only source of income, i cant afford to take a break no matter how sick i am. I remember the time i was extremely sick, i ddnt have any energy to work, i was soo weak, i worked same hours i do when i am not sick. I had a hard time trying to figure out how me and my child would make it if i ddnt work.
