Have you ever attended a demonstration?

Has anyone ever participated in a protest? I've never done so and would really prefer not to. Protests are something we frequently see on TV, but we rarely get involved and instead just observe them from the sidelines.

I have never attended one before, and honestly i don't even plan on anytime soon, I can't deal with the crowd.

Attending the demonstration was something I had never done before, and I do not intend to do it in the future. Bad things can happen, and it is scary.
