One of the things thy fine artists do is painted portraits. From a customer view point, have you ever bought a handmade portrait? How much did you buy it and how much would you be willing to pay for a painted portrait now?

I bought a painted portrait of myself for $25 some two year back. I would pay $30 for such portrait now.

Portraits have always been expensive. That's why I have never bought one. Last I asked, it was $50 and I don't think I can pay more than $40 for one.
