Sponsored content is one of those monetization options that sounds fancy but is it actually worth it? If you have ever landed a sponsored post or brand collaboration for your site or blog, how did it go? Was it a one time post or long term partnership? I have never had that in my business. I have always wondered how people get the deal, do they pitch or what?

Though content creator is essentially creating advertising content for the brand but I'm yet to do and get compensated for it.

First, some people join affiliate networks like Grapevine or Upfluence, which connect content writers with companies looking for advertising opportunities. Even if you don’t have a large following, if your content is unique and has a solid audience, you can attract brands.

Second, others write professional emails directly to companies they like, explaining their blog, traffic stats, and the idea for a partnership. With a media kit (i.e. a summary of your blog, stats, and readership), you have a better chance of being credible.
