Recently, I merged my site with someone else's site. This is the first time I have merged my site with someone else's site, and now I am a co-owner. Well, I have merged my own websites, especially blogs. In fact a few months ago, I created one of my biggest websites by merging a couple of websites. It now has over 1000 articles. Have you ever merged your websites with someone else's website, why did you merge?

I own a forum, donated to me by a friend who is now my co-worker as the technical admin. The forum was born in 2021, but I never needed to merge it with whatever else site.
Invite us to join your site he he. How nice to own a forum site. I cannot afford to create a forum site. It might be so costly.

I'd only consider a merge if it's a similar niche, and the content would benefit my forum.
Merging with similar niche sounds better. But I have been on some sites that merged with different niches and yet they are stilling doing well, in fact even better.

I don't see how merging with different niche helps unless the content is similar to the niche of your forum. It might look better, because a lot more posts, but does it really help?
