Have you ever tried out the buying and selling of cryptocurrency on the Paypal Online payment processors?

Even though I have been using PayPal for a long time, until now in my country, PayPal does not support crypto so I cannot make crypto transactions on PayPal.
It seems that buying crypto using the PayPal platform only works in the United States. It doesn't work in most other countries.

You are absolutely right, crypto transactions on PayPal are only valid in the US, Hawaii and UK, and maybe in European countries and others. But as far as I know, if you buy crypto on PayPal you can't withdraw it to another crypto wallet unlike when we buy crypto on a crypto exchange.

Most of the full functionalities of PayPal are better experienced in the US which is their home country. That's why I don't bother too much with trying to access their features.

This is the very same matter in the Mercosur area: our Paypal doesn't work with cryptocurrencies. In addition, it's likely in the next future in my country we'll not be able to make any crypto transaction at all, as the current government is hindering their use and probably prone to declare them illegal.

One of the weaknesses of cryptocurrency can be used for criminal acts such as money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud etc. In fact, any medium of exchange can also be used for criminal acts, but the government will take the easiest route.

In my opinion (and this is the same opinion of many friends of mine), among various countries, the politicians' complains about criminal acts due to cryptocurrencies it's a mere excuse. Their real aim appears to be they like to hinder the use of cryptocurrencies to maintain the ignorance and poverty among the population. A Spanish friend of mine agrees, as she says politicians in her country are the first to practice money laundering.

Paypal is still the same old PayPal in my country. Nothing has changed, there's is no option for cryptocurrency, i wish there was though since its one of the few sites that i can withdraw to my bank account.
