I have noticed same for my country. They try not to show they are the owners of their different big businesses

In my city, it is also true that big business owners seldom show up and interact with customers. They do accept interviews by media.

Big time business owners could be seen only through special gatherings like Rotary Club Meetings and other clubs where they are members. There are even employees or workers who have never seen the business or company owner only the name and picture.

I have actually notice that the owners of big company doesn't show at all to people I feel they don't want to be notice by people.

Most business owners in my country are Chinese born in the Philippines and they acquired the Filipino culture and traditions. However they are also targets for kidnap for ransom so most of them are invisible in the business center only some of their children.

Owners of big businesses being visible is down to the structure of the business and the nature of the business owner. Some people that own big businesses are so down to earth.
