Have you written a screenplay?

Many years ago, I was asked to write a screenplay by my brother in law who had a movie maker friend who was looking for a new script. Since I was asked by my brother in law, I did not ask for money but I wrote the screenplay and gave it to him. sadly, the movie never went to the floor and the movie was never made. If they had actually made the movie, I would have been satisfied even when I wasn't paid. Have you ever written a screenplay?

I have never done this before but my sister on the other hand, she has written several screenplays before.

Well, I don't know if it can be described as a screen play as I have written some stories for different people that. they used for their individual purposes

I have not written a screenplay. I think it needs some special skills to pull that off. And I have not really paid attention to that aspect of writing.
