Health insurance and GST in India

People take a health insurance to use it when they are hospitalized in India. In the year 2023 the finance minister imposed a GST even on health insurance. This year she removed the GST on health insurance but the insurance companies have increased the premium. This is just putting the Indian people into trouble.

I believe the government should better regulate these actions and ensure that insurers don't abuse their position to raise premiums without justification. Health shouldn't be a luxury, but a priority for everyone.
