Report has it that Heathrow Airport in London, UK, will remain closed until midnight due to a large fire at a nearby electricity substation, the airport's administrators have revealed.
According to Sky News, a spokesperson confirmed there was a “significant power outage across the airport” and “we do not have clarity on when power may be reliably restored”.

Yes passengers will be affected as their movement would be restricted. But it is still better than getting self into bad situation

I saw the fire via video. My nieces who are there working told me, they were so scared. Though the cation is far from their location ,but they saw the huge smoke and fire ablaze

I think the airport management is very civil and cultured. In some countries like Nigeria, the management own the passengers no apology. That's the kind of system we have here. It is unbecoming and very unfortunate that those in authority in my country don't haave respect for anything.
