Hezbollah targets Israeli mountain base in 'largest' air attack

According to recent reports, a major attack on an Israeli military base in the Golan Heights has been carried out by the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah. The Israeli military's Mount Hermon base, a vital facility in the disputed area, was the focus of the rocket and missile assault.

Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, took credit for the attack and described it as the "largest" airstrike the group has ever launched against Israeli targets.

Over 20 rockets and missiles are said to have been used in the attack; however, Israeli defensive systems intercepted them.

Hezbollah, which has been fighting alongside Syrian government troops in the country's civil conflict, and Israel are at odds over this attack.Hezbollah has assured to respond to Israeli bombings in Syria.
