According to the report, Hezbollah has signaled readiness to discuss its weapons if Israel withdraws from five hilltops in southern Lebanon, Reuters reported on 9 April. A senior official said disarmament talks must be part of a broader national defence strategy. Despite a ceasefire, Israeli airstrikes continue, and Washington demands Hezbollah’s disarmament. Lebanon’s President Aoun is reportedly preparing to open dialogue.
Meanwhile, Iran is said to be arming Hezbollah via sea routes, as land routes through Syria become unviable. On April 8, Israel struck a Hezbollah weapons site in Lebanon’s Beqaa region.
Deadly attacks from Israel continues. It is better for Hezbollah to surrender their firearms and never do any attempt to strike Israel, they will never win.
