According to the report, Yemen’s Houthi rebels claimed responsibility for launching a “hypersonic ballistic missile” at central Israel on May 29, targeting Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport. The Houthi missile triggered air raid sirens in 660 cities across central Israel, including Tel Aviv and West Bank, sending millions to bomb shelters. The attack also briefly halted the final of the Israel State Cup, held at the Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv. Nearly 30,000 soccer fans had gathered at the stadium to watch Hapoel Beersheba play Beitar Jerusalem.
