I only buy what I need and avoid unnecessary purchases. Living paycheck to paycheck helps ensure I don't spend beyond my income. Need to avoid lifestyle inflation at all costs.
Nowadays, I have cut down unnecessary luxury from my life. I no longer watch cable TV as I have stopped paying the subscription. I don't invite friends over because they might need to eat. I just live a small life.
I think everyone has their own way of doing that depending on their earnings and the expenses.
Living beyond your means is the practice of making good use of whatever you have without going to the debt for further alterations for the budget.

That's something that l have always anticipated to. I have tried and tried for almost there times and failed.
l have even set that one as my main resolution for the 2024.
Now, living within our means is not possible in Nigeria again. The Nigeria economy is in disarray and inflation have rose fro 25% to 120% in three months. I don't buy clothes and shoes now. I only concentrate on feeding my family now.
