How can families save money on TV subscriptions?

One of the things that families spend money on very much is TV subscriptions. Everyone in the family has their own entertainment needs and interests. How can a family with this reality practically save money on TV subscriptions without impeding the entertainment needs of members of the family?

I just watch programs on free-to-air TV channels. Have not subscribed to any live streaming services. I enjoy watching videos on YouTube. That is enough entertainment for me.

Free to air TV in my own country won't give you anything that is close to interesting. People don't even rate it in my country and would always subscribe cable TV.

Families should take advantage of sites that are free to watch and there is a lot of them. Also, youtube has also really improved in the movies and tv programs that they download which families can watch.

They can use cheap night plans to download movies for the family to watch. That is what I do to reduce my entertainment budget.

if you have the money you can pay annually rather than monthly will usually work out cheaper as you pay less.
