To find the right balance between saving some money and enjoying your life, you must have a careful financial technique. To be able to accomplish it, factor in determining clear financial objectives and setting up automatic transfers to your savings account, to name a few. It's also a great idea to keep different accounts for savings and leisure, and planning your vacation ahead of time can come in handy. By completing these steps, you will be able to enjoy life while keeping your money in order.

To strike a balance you simply say from income, 10% os spending money, 40% is savings and the rest helps you keep afloat. You also have to practise descipline by making sure that you only tap into your savings in life or death situations.

@freelancermaria, a very inspiring thread for its readers, although everyone has a different strategy or way to achieve a balance between saving and enjoying life, especially in the allocation of income for daily needs, emergency funds and entertainment funds or enjoying life. In addition to a mature plan or strategy, discipline and consistency are also needed in saving.

We don't need to spend a lot of money to enjoy life; there are plenty of fun activities that won’t break the bank. It's essential to know your priorities: save first and then pay your bills.

The truth of the matter is if you really want to save, there are certain sacrifices you will have to make, yes you can still go out and buy things for yourself, but it won't be up to the level others do it. There are times you will decide not to buy anything, there are times you will decide to buy very little. Setting up a budget can also help you strike a balance.

I think the low to middle income earners have a very hard time in striking a balance between the two.
Does that mean they shouldn't enjoy life? If they can be rational about it, they can still enjoy life at their level.
