How did you build your financial knowledge

Everyone should have financial knowledge, irrespective of things they do. Finance is important not just for businesses and investors but even for job holders and people just involved with house hold chores. Interesting, unlike other courses like science and math, finance is not mandatory in school. Therefore, people wanting to learn about finances should build their knowledge themselves. By the way, how did you do it?

For me, it was mostly through experience, after making a lot of mistakes and errors I had to learn from that.

I have learned some financial knowledge when I studied for the MBA program. Nowadays, I also keep myself updated on financial knowledge through reading financial newspaper and magazines.
