If a heart is broken, what is felt is only pain. The mind has less power to dictate the owner's self to mellow down the pain. It's a crazy thing feeling what's messed up and the heart disallows the mind to see a brighter side but rather focus on the causes, of the past with someone who breaks her heart, or with a best friend who cheats and tells a lie about you, or a family who abandons you.

It's incredibly sickening if you do not take the initiative to accept reality and give yourself a chance to be with yourself again. In my case, I experienced many times heartbroken but it was the first that was extremely excruciating, the next, I felt my heart frigid and hard as a stone. What about you?

Mending a broken heart can be pretty difficult and painful. I think the best thing to do is give yourself time, and take it slowly.

I agree with you that, giving time for ourselves is the best cure to forget the pain. The pain will gradually subside after some days when we also take action to mend it by doing something to forget the past aches,

The just decide to move on with my life. I can't waste my life in one place sobbing because of a heartbreak.

Though it is not easy to mend a broken heart but you have to force yourself to accept the reality that the cruel past love never comes back. You should be happy and celebrate such failed love for you've seen the true color of your beloved and that what matters most for you to move on.
