How difficult or easy is it to sell a product/service that you don't personally use?

For some people, the company they work for is into selling one product or service. And they as staff have to help sell the products. For some of them, they are just working for the money. They don't use the product or service their company is into.

Is it something that is realistically possible to sell a product that you don't use?

It might not be easy but it is doable. You just have to employ your convincing skills to let them know the product is good and they need to try it out

I really don't know how to sell a product that I do not use. I won't be able to testify well to market it.

Many products or services are very expensive and the staff of a company may not be interested or cannot afford to purchase the product or service that they are selling or marketing.

Yes it's very possible, i have seen cases where people market a product that they don't use themselves and they still market it well. Though using the product gives more originality.
