How do you change your sofa sets?

For me l usually sell the used sofa sets and add up extra money on top and purchase a better looking and more appealing sofa sets in my household. This is like after three to four years of the purchase. What about you?

We have not replaced our sofa set at my parents' house in over 5 years. Usually, if the sofa set still looks good, we either get rid of the old one or give it to our neighbor. However, most of the time, we only replace it when it is worn out.

We buy a new set of sofa if it already looks old. We threw the old or gave to someone needing it. It still looked good though old.
