Sometimes it sounds very disappointing when you find items on the display and when you add that on the cart they tell you that the item is out of stock. How do one controls that matter?

The online store should check inventory from time to time, especially for popular items.

You can't control this matter, this is the work of the store manager to ensure that the store is updated time after time so there won't be issues like this.

To be able to control the stock outs on your online store, first you must be able to determine the safety stock, make sales forecasts from historical sales data, make orders for goods on time.
I agree with you they need to do stock taking to be able to know the finished product and work with it.

If you are out of stocks, you just stock up. This is as simple as that. However, you need to order before going out of stock
For instance l found some good shoes on the favorite online store but when l was about to purchase they said that it was out of stock.
