How do you deal with slander, criminal defamation?

Compared to other sectors, the levels of criminal defamation, slander faced by online workers, investors is very high, with a large number of frauds falsely claiming to own their bank account, online account and domains. What is the best way to deal with slander, criminal defamation?

There is nothing I can suggest. It never happened here in my country. The only way is to report them to the police authorities or share it with on the different media sites to expose their bad deeds.

The way i see it, the best way to deal with this would be to take legal action against whoever is doing this to you.
