There are people that have relatives living outside their own countries. And those relatives might gift them foreign currencies like yuan, euros and the likes.

How do you get to exchange those foreign currencies to the local currency of your country?

Banks here exchange any currency except from China, and Korea unless in millions. The value of their currency is very small. They only exchange US dollar, Australian dollar, New Zealand dollar, Euro, Dinar, and the UK currency. There are also many private Money Exchanger.

If the money is given by transfer, it will automatically be recorded in local currency in a savings account, but if I am given physical money in small amounts, it is better to keep it as a souvenir. But if the amount of money is large, I will exchange it at a bank or money changer.

If the foreign currency is in electronic money, it is very easy to exchange it. You just send to currency exchangers.

This is the easy way out. if you have PayPal just use an exchanger and you get your fiat currency from them
