Big opportunity for humans since asteroids are close like those just behing Mars. Unfortunately our tech is still not good enough for asteroid mining but many companys works on it.
I researched something about asteroid mining and it seems to me that activities have already started in 2023, which is quite interesting.
There is severe economic crisis in most countries of the world and some humans are roaming the space looking for some things that are not looking for us. I strongly believe is a waste of resources and wealth. We should be more concerned about hardship and economic downturn in many countries.
I think this is a very big opportunity, but it seems very contradictory when we have so many poor people on earth that these studies will not help. And also many wars that are not solved in any way
