Some people are really good with calling or meeting face to face to make enquiries. They look serious. You answer all their queries and probably negotiating a price. They end up not buying at the end.

How do you feel? Down? Wasted efforts?

That will be disappointing but never let them feel your feelings. It's best to wait for some days for them. to decide and come back to you.
You would have to be patient. We might think they have changed their minds about buying but they are busy making their decisions and sourcing money to come and buy.

That's right they are budgeting their capital to avoid over dropping. Mature men don't decide right away.

Facing disappointment is a natural part of running a business. It is essential to understand that not everyone will be your target market. However, remember that there will always be people who are interested in your products or services and who align with your target market.

This feeling different from item to item. My shop's items are simple, as if some customers enquire and not purchase I don't feel bad, but I have seen this irritating style of few customers in cloth market there, shopkeeper there open unstitched cloth, customer see then see other and other and mostly not purchase.

It can be very painful. There was one that happened to me some time back, she came to me, made a lot of enquires, I even took time out to check various vendors where I could get the materials in a cheaper rate, so I could give her the best price. After giving her my price, she agreed that the price was fair and that she would come back to me within the month, only for me to see on her status that she has done it somewhere else. I jokingly asked her about it and what she said was that she had already paid someone to do the job even before asking me. Like does that even make sense?

If you are running a business, you have to be ready to accept these things as a part and parcel of the game. Think from the point of a customer. They want the best for them and they will compare all possibilities before deciding for one.

Patience is the virtue and you will need it again and again in your business. Patience and politeness goes a long way in building rapport with your customer. He might not make a purchase now, but ge might be your prospective customer if he goes impressed with your courtesy, politeness and patience to answer all your queries.
