How do you handle customers that always demand to see the manager first?

There are some customers that often come to our workplace and demand to see the manager first. There are staff available to attend to them but they want to see the manager first. They don't want any staff in any department to attend to them.

How do you handle this kind of customers if you are the first staff they meet?

if the customer is special for your business, you can let them see manager, otherwise just dismiss them and continue with your work
