How Do You Separate Personal and Business Finances?

I often see many small traders mixing personal money with business money, and many of them even use business money to meet their personal needs. But I have to be aware of their knowledge or skill level. However, on a larger business scale there is of course a separation between personal and business money which reflects the level of business professionalism. So how do you separate personal money from business money?

I believe the easiest way to do this would be to simply setup a separate bank account for your business and as well have a different one for personal use.

I am a business person and I don't single handedly have access to withdraw business funds even though it is my business. I made it a joint account with my cashier to put a check on myself from withdrawing incessantly.
