How easy do you get bursaries and government sponsorship on education?

In my country it's very difficult to get any bursary or sponsorship from the government to support the education for the people unless you have some connections. What about the situation in your country?

In my city, it is not difficult to get government sponsorship if you cannot afford to pay the tuition fees. I myself have applied for government grants and loans when I was studying in university.

The government of my country just started a students loan scheme. I don't think that I would take it if I was still a student.

I my country one can't the government's bursaries and sponsorship unless they are very much known or something.

You must know someone to be able to access any government intervention program in my country. Students bursary is all about connection.

Getting government bursaries in my country is very difficult. Applied for several since when I got college admission but never was given any till I graduated.
