How is Telegram better than WhatsApp?

Forget the hype. Telegram is better and has more features. On Telegram groups, you can have more than 1000 members compared to WhatsApp Which is not up to 500 participants in a group chat. You can easily set up your own Telegram bot but that is not possible on WhatsApp?

Telegram has a lot more features yes but most people are already used to WhatsApp so it would be a lot difficult for most of them to adjust.

I have both but I dismantled the apps because of reasons. For the WhatsApp, it was banned in my country because it was a source of illegal activities and crimes. And for Telegatm, it is not famous in the Philippines.

Most large communities are being hosted on telegram rather than WhatsApp. WhatsApp just had the name and the market. Meta is trying to improve it buy they should do more.

I am indifferent on this. It is just the WhatsApp business feature that makes me glued to WhatsApp because it has tools that can help you promote your business.

Telegram have more functionality and capabilities than WhatsApp. But the problem is that a lot of people are not technically in inclined. Many people simply want a messaging app not a technical one.

they are the same thing for me but maybe telegram has more groups that you can join I'm not sure about that tho
