Imagine that you were contracted to to a job, and you have delivered the job and the client tells you to wait for some time.

Now, that is your money, your entitlement. How long would you be able to wait for that payment before you run out of patience?

Personally, I believe patience in these situations has its limits. I understand that clients sometimes face delays for various reasons, but when I delivered my work, I did so with the expectation that I would receive payment within a reasonable timeframe. If more than a week or two passes without payment, I begin to feel that my effort isn't being valued, and my patience wears thin. Ideally, I would wait a maximum of 15 business days; after that time, I would start looking for alternatives, such as sending reminders or even considering other actions to protect my rights. Ultimately, while I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, I also have to be mindful of my finances and my time, and I can't wait indefinitely without a clear answer from the client.

My job is like that: I get a work contract from another company, and when the contract is drawn up, we receive a down payment of at least 25% of the contract amount. After the work is completed, the work report will not be submitted until the contract payment is in full.

I can wait for around two weeks to for weeks, the most important thing is that the platform is at least updating the people about what is happening and not just keeping quite about it.

With some communication from the client or platform, your mind can stay calm. But some clients would still ghost you on top of that.

Exactly, this way i know there is hope. It's annoying when most of them don't even open up to let you know what's happening.
