How long does things copied stay on the clipboard?

When things get copied to the clipboard, how long would it take for the thing to be deleted from the clipboard. I know that for my android keyboard, it takes an hour for anything copied to stay on the clipboard. How long does items copied on PC stay on the clipboard?

For me l think that copied files to the clipboard takes a very short time to get deleted. For me l think that in less than six hours after deletion for the items.

Till you shut down your mobile or restart it, or copy some other things. It remain I found and used it on very next day too.

On a Windows computer, what you copy to the clipboard remains there until you copy something else, delete it yourself, or turn off your computer. Unlike Android, which can have a specific expiration time for a clipboard, such as an hour, Windows does not have an automatic expiration time for copied items.

However, if you use Clipboard History via Windows key + V, you can save many items for a longer period of time until you pin them or restart your computer. Without pinning, some items may be deleted to make room for newer ones.

What I really love about some clipboards for some keyboards on android is that one can copy more than one thing at a time and they are held on the clipboard simultaneously

My clipboard stays more than two days except when i copy another thing. I hardly shut down my phone. I think some phones have higher clipboard lifetime than others.

Bro you have a strong point the phone clipboard is not a standard thing every brand sets its own rules. There are phones that carry data for hours, others just open another app and the clipboard is deleted. This depends on the OS security and privacy settings.
