For professions, it might take less time but it also depends on the quality that the client wants, either way professions make quality websites
I think that most webmasters tend to spend more time on more demanding websites than on the simple websites.

It takes less than 10 minutes to set up a blog with wrdpress, if you already have content,your blog will be complete in less than 20 minutes
It takes only few minutes to set up a blog. There is different better a blog and a website. If is a website, it can take longer time especially when you are a novice. Moreover, it depends on the type of website you want to create. We have websites that are complex and takes time to design.
But it needs one year work to start earning with a blog this is difference, the main purpose isn't set up wordpress blogger with bluehost for 100 $ per year but does blog generates 100 $ second year at renew?
I have realized that there are so many types of websites and that they take different times to create depending on the features, plugins and so on
