How Much Money Do You Need to Start Investing?

A good amount of money to put into stocks is what you can truly afford. Make sure you have a couple months worth of expenses set aside as an emergency fund. It doesn't matter how much you start out with. It matters what average annual return you get over the long run

Any amount adds up eventually, if you have $1 you can still invest, and then the compound investment is what will make it even actually make sense. So whatever amount you have just compound.
Even dollar is seed that can bring a great harvest later. The secret is to keep your money in circulation so that profit begets more profit. If you play this way, you will build strong empire from small pennies.

Waiting around for a perfect amount before investing can hold you back. Even small amounts get you in the game, and over time those little investments can grow. Plus, you build the habit and learn along the way. It’s less about starting big and more about just starting, then adding more as you go.

Start Small: Even with small.amount you can begin investing through fractional shares or low-cost index funds

We should also limit ourselves to investing, especially in high-risk instruments such as ICOs. Recently, I was only able to invest $100, which I could potentially lose in the Apemars ICO. However, when we buy IPO shares, we can study the fundamentals of the issuer so we can invest more.

In Nigeria, I think you can start investing with as little as ₦1,000 - ₦5,000 monthly, depending on the platform. Some investment apps like Cowrywise or PiggyVest have low minimums.
