On a normal day, I would not spend more than $7 a day and that is quite extreme. There are days that $5 can do for me.

Because of the costs of everything is rising, I learn to cut my expenditures. I can manage to spend only $10, that's a rough estimation.
Things are really high here but we still have to cut out expenses. I do use up to $5 daily.
I think it all depends on individual lifestyle and commitment. $10 is not much but it can last for a single for a week if the person is frugal in expenditure! $10 is roughly 16,000 naira in Nigeria.

This depends greatly on the country you live in. For example, $10 wouldn't even cover a day in the US, while that might be a lot to spend for a day or even, as you say, to survive a week.
