Service providers like tailors and laundry people are sometimes faced with emergency orders, and they might have to suspend a particular job they are handling at hand to attend to that emergency order.

How much higher than the original price would you charge for an emergency order? For me, I would charge double of the normal price for an emergency order.

Even if she has extra staff or apprentices, it would still be a strain for someone to meet up an order that came in very urgently and needs immediate delivery. Service providers should seriously charge for those kinds of orders.

Double payments might just be the ideal increase to charge. That depends on the number of works the service provider would have to suspend to deliver your own. Some even charge more than double. I gave a clothes to someone to sow and I needed it in. The next five hours, I was charged more than double the normal pricing.

Adding another 5% charge fees for emergency would not be a bad idea just let them it is a small amount
I don't think that you are being fair. A tailor for instance would suspend someone's clothe to sew your own and deliver instantly for a 5% increase from the normal price? That's unfair to the fashion designer.

Well, these things varies if it is something more tedious then you can increase the rate to a reasonable amount . it should not be for any tiny little things like even fast delivery

Before I accept the job, I would make sure it's something I can do and it won't affect my relationship with my other customers. I can't loose customers simply because one in particular pays more. If I know I can do the job, then whatever I charge would depend on how stressful the job might be.

That is the thing I have always told people. That quickness where you need to always be ready without any previous thoughts is what makes emergency services a bit high.
Emergency service fees might seem high, but there's more to it. These services require specialized equipment, constant readiness, and handle complex situations. It's not just stopping regular services, but the extra costs of being prepared for the unexpected.

The thing is just to charge a reasonable amount let the customer know you are not taking undue advantage of them.
There is nothing like a reasonable amount for emergency services. If you don't want to pay up to double for a service, plan yourself ahead and have that service done for you way before you need to use it actively.

Different strokes for different folks. Some people wants to make their customers happy it isn't just about the money but satisfying your customers

I would charge double of the normal amount. I can't be satisfying a customer and end up gaining nothing. Business is all about making profits. Everyone knows that even accepting to do an urgent order is enough customers satisfaction.
