I do not think that a good-looking, professional website should cost more than $500. The price is linked to the site's complexity, its page count, and whether an individual or a vendor is hired for the job.

An ordinary website with a few pages and simple features can save you both time and money and is usually realized with templates. Fancy custom designs, online shops, and added tools will surely increase not only the cost but time and effort required.

Also, you will need to consider some other expenses, for example, hosting services, domain names, and regular updates. These can cost you an extra 100–500 dollars per year. The more the features, the higher the price tag, but if the performance is high no one bothers.

It all depends on the complexity and functionality of a website. Simply websites can be cheap around 50 to 100 dollars. But more complex websites that have a lot of functionality may be above$1000 dollars.
Not everyone has this money to start, most of them start with 100 dollars.
