I usually put some money aside for emergencies. While it is not a large amount, it is better than nothing. I am happy that I am prioritizing saving for emergencies now, as I did not prioritize it before.
I think having a specific goal amount for your emergency fund is a great idea. Once you reach that goal, it's important to continue saving for emergencies so that you're always prepared for any financial challenges that may arise.
After calculating how much money I need for an emergency fund (around 7 times my monthly expenses), I started saving until I reached my emergency fund target and the money was saved in my savings.
