How to Avoid Scams as a Freelancer

Freelancing can be very rewarding, but it also comes with a lot of risks, especially when it comes to getting paid. Early in my freelance career, I was scammed multiple times. I have not only scammed by the first time client bit also a repeat client I trusted. Clients have vanished after I submitted work and some even filed charge backs after they paid. Have you ever been scammed as a freelancer?

No I hafe never and I hope it doesn't happen to me. I try to work only with trusted people at least from previous reviews and feedbacks from people

Being scammed by a first time client is understandable, you were trying to create trust. But to be scammed by a returning customer, that customer is purely wicked. They took advantage of the fact that you trusted them and that's not fair.

This is why we need to look very well before trusting anyone. Some people are just pure scam you need to avoid them
