Making copies of others' product design, name, or logo without their consent is illegal and can seriously trouble one with the law. It is referred to as copyright infringement and might result in the paying of large fines or taking a case to court.

Even a bit of a different copy of a product that is copied is not a sure way to avoid getting sued. The original creator is entitled to the full rights of his/her work, which means that he/she can hinder others from using it wrongly.

The biggest part of businesses operating costs, or their reputation, usually fall victim to the theft of their ideas by pirates. This is why copyright laws are strict in most countries and are closely monitored.

Copyright infringement is very rampant on the internet, and very difficult to eradicate, so if you have copyright or a logo, product, song or whatever you can use DCMA to report to certain platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, etc. so that your copied content will be removed. Meanwhile, suing the law or court will be very complicated and require large costs if copyright infringement is carried out between countries.
