Once you decide to start an F&B business, you need to determine not only the menu, taste, and service you offer, but also the right selling price. But how do you do that?

Of course, compute on how much you spend buying on those stuff by category or kind, compute the amount you spent on those ingredients including the cooking oil, sauce, vinegar, spices and more. And then you have to categorize the menu accordingly.

If you are selling whole foods, you just have to set a markup price that is about 30% higher than a unit cost of the food item. Transport costs should really be considered in that.
