Some of the low end mobiles have a limited sms storage capacity. Does anyone know how to increase the storage capacity of the mobile and have they implemented it?

Honestly, I have never done this before because I rarely use the SMS feature on my phone. Maybe there is an app available for that.
I receive a large number of smses for various financial transactions, and the sms inbox in my mobile is getting full very quickly, due to which I may miss other smses.

All you have to do is upgrade your phone. There is software sold in the tech business to upgrade your phone so it can store unlimited data.

Is this even possible? If at all it's possible then probably you will have to take it to your service provider for an upgrade.
For me l have never found that need to expand the phone storage capacity on the messages. That is because l am not a chat person.
Unfortunately, you can't actually increase the built-in SMS storage capacity on your phone in the same way you'd add more storage for photos or apps. The amount of space allocated for SMS messages is determined by the phone's operating system and the messaging app itself, and it's not something users can typically adjust.
Think of it like this: your phone sets aside a specific little box for your text messages. Once that box is full, it's full. You can't make the box bigger.

I store SMS in my Sim card memory and I get to delete unnecessary SMS. I have never experienced SMS capacity being full before.
