Stock investing can feel a bit overwhelming at first. Taking your time to learn and explore at your own pace is a smart approach. I am glad I already started investing in stocks. I already received some dividends. It is overwhelming.

These days there are now apps and platforms where you can easily start investing in stocks with a single click, but you need to have a clear understanding of how stock trading works.

One thing I learned early is to avoid chasing “hot tips” and instead look for companies with strong fundamentals that you personally believe in. Even if the price moves slowly, it’s less stressful to hold a stock you trust than one you bought on impulse. I also keep a journal of every trade and the reason I made it, it’s surprising how much you learn about your own habits that way.

I invested in stock in a private college. I bought 5 shares from the owner who migrated to Canada. I already attended the first stock holders meeting. It was an invitation to assume the stocks.

The thread is already good and comprehensive, so I only need to add a few pieces of information, such as always using idle money when investing, determining both short-term and long-term goals. Short-term goals are defined as days, less than a month, and long-term goals are defined as more than two years. Choose issuers with a history of paying stable and regular dividends.

Indeed, buying stocks can be risky. Before buying stocks, you have to learn more about stock trading, the risk involved and do research on the stocks you intend to buy.
Yeah. there are no guarantees of profits when you buy stock, which makes stock one of the most risky investments. If a company doesn't do well or falls out of favor with investors, its stock can fall in price
