The websites with cluttered homepages are a great turn off for many people. Personally, if I visit a site with more than five three ad units, too many visual elements, auto playing videos, I leave the website right away. Minimal design with a few focused content, fewer ads, no flashy or auto playing videos keeps visitors engaged on the website. When visitors spend time on your site, it also helps to reduce bounce rate.

First of all, why you do not use Brave Browser and install AutoPlayer stop instead of this head ache. I know google chrome disables AutoPlayer stop extension this is reason I leave this browser, but Brave Browser do to avoid this unwanted auto play video until I read it by wanting this.

My point exactly if you want to keep your homepage functional then you have to do the three and have the desired outcome you need.
Then hire a person for backend and person for frontend and person for mobile dev

That's right if it is going to be an overwhelming tasks for you. Then the best bet is to hire some person's for the job.
