Saving is the best way to fund our activities, especially for short-term plans (of just one year), especially for goals that require larger financial resources, such as vacations, emergency funds, or other goals.

There are several ways we can save for the short term or for 12 months without stress and with enthusiasm.

1. Define a clear goal and estimate the required budget.
2. Choose a savings plan of your choice: fixed, increasing, or decreasing.
3. Use a dedicated savings account or use a digital bank.
4. Monitor your savings progress to see if it's on track.
5. Make improvements.

Unfortunately, given the high cost of living, often significantly out of proportion to our incomes, saving for a yearly vacation is now becoming nearly impossible. That said, my friend, I don't want to be too pessimistic, but the data speaks for itself.

That's right, the high cost of living makes it difficult to allocate our income for a yearly vacation. However, we can save for this vacation after we reach our emergency fund target, so we can allocate our emergency fund savings to our annual vacation. Furthermore, we also need to create a side hustle to accelerate our goal.

The fact that first of all, every person initially needs a savings fund to cover primary needs, such as healthcare, which unfortunately, at least in Italy, is increasingly privatized and therefore decidedly expensive.

It turns out that the cost of living is high not only in my country but also in yours. Everyone must meet primary needs, including healthcare, before fulfilling secondary and tertiary needs. Vacations can be classified as secondary if they are inexpensive and affordable, while entertainment is considered a tertiary need if they require a lot of money.

Indeed, like most people, I consider this a genuine injustice! After all, if someone works, they should earn a sum proportionate to the cost of living, and obviously, after doing their duty, everyone should have the right to indulge in some leisure activities. After all, these are also part of people's lives.
EVERYONE SHOULD WORK TO LIVE, BUT NOT LIVE TO WORK!
-Let's all shout this out loud, my friend-

This is obviously very bad for smokers like myself, unfortunately! First and foremost, health comes first. It's well-established that SMOKING IS SERIOUSLY DAMAGED TO OUR HEALTH. Even financially, smoking is a significant expense. I can give an example of an Italian citizen who smokes a pack of cigarettes a day (so 20 cigarettes), which costs €5.30 each. So, doing a quick calculation, a daily expenditure of 5.30 Euro to smoke a pack of cigarettes translates into an annual expenditure of 1934€!!
Converting Euro into your local currency, I ask you, what vacation could you treat yourself having €1934 at your disposal?

I started saving when I was 11 years old, the more this time that I have work and business. I don't aspire to go on vacation. The situation of the world is somewhat chaotic. I can have a short vacation in one vacation of the vacation spots in the Philippines.

I can imagine, my dear friend that saving money these days is unfortunately increasingly difficult. However, I don't know if you smoke, but in any case, do you agree with my theory in my previous post?

If I had a budget of €1934, of course I would be able to visit various local destinations and even abroad, such as Japan and Singapore, even in less than 7 days.

So this fully confirms that by smoking I have only things to lose, primarily in terms of health, as everyone knows. Moreover with the money that I'm spending on harmful cigarettes, over the course of a year, with the savings from not smoking anymore, could allow me to treat myself to a vacation or anything I've never been able to do before now.
