For me I think it depends on the them as a family. If they are okay with this, then that's their own headache. Cause I have seen some family have this setup and it's working well for them, or on the outside they seem okay.
Just like eLdavis, it depends on the family setup. I suppose it is okay. I personally know of a family in which the husband stays at home while the wife works.

It can be workable in western countries but it is offensive and insultive to tell African man to stay at home and the woman will be working. It is strongly believed in most western African countries, that a man must feed and take care of his wife and children.
