According to the report, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon said that Israeli soldiers shot at its peacekeepers from a tank near an army position in the country's south.

The report also stated that the UN peacekeepers alleged that heavy machine gun rounds hit about five meters from their personnel. However, Israel's military defended the attack, saying it mistook blue helmets for suspects and fired warning shots.

The Israeli military blamed poor weather conditions and said it had not deliberately targeted UN troops.

The UN troops should not be occupying. The DF said it was a wrong warning; therefore, wrong. They should not make it big, or else they will fight each other.
