If a customer has a legal issue with a small business, is he or she suing the business or the owner of the business?

There are times that customers want to sue businesses to get claims. It could be for a damage or so.

In the case of a small business, would the business be sued or it is the owner of the business that would be sued?

I don't think it would actually matter if they sue the business or the business owner cause the business owner would still have to sort it out.

For a small business, you can't sue the business. It is the business owner that bears all the liabilities of the business by himself alone.
